2010 Centennial Celebration Spotlight

The Conservancy's Centennial Celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 21st. In this edition we recognize Presenting Sponsor PNC and  Belmont Sponsors Binswanger , Dow Chemical Company, and PECO. Hunting Park Indians Baseball Kick Off Extravaganza

This great event was held on Saturday, March 27th. Pitch In for Baseball donated equipment to the ball club, while the Conservancy announced a donation by the Ryan Howard Family Foundation. Lower Merion Little League coaches and players also joined in the fun, sharing their skills and techniques with the Indians.  Click here for info and photos of the day.

Here's a story that goes back over 300 years, when Johannes Kelpius, a Transylvanian mystic and alchemist, traveled from Europe to America, where he and a group of followers settled in the Wissahickon Valley.  Click here to read more.
